Schoolchildren are invited to follow the “IT Hero’s Path” and attend educational events in Muzeon Art Park at the "Digital Technologies of Moscow" platform of the "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" forum. Guests will be able to learn in a game format how familiar academic subjects will come in handy when choosing an IT specialty, what professions in this area are already developing today, and how artificial intelligence and digital technologies influence education and careers.
"The pavilion's exposition is designed in such a way that everyone can see in an educational and entertaining way that working in the field of information technology requires not only technical knowledge, but also a broad outlook, the ability to focus, openness to everything new and a desire to grow. In the interactive journey "IT Hero's Path", schoolchildren and students can understand what skills need to be improved for a career in IT. By passing the tests, participants will demonstrate knowledge of school subjects useful for future IT specialists, try to grow a professional in the IT Tamagotchi, take a bike ride on a real bike along a virtual copy of the Garden Ring. Through game mechanics and interesting tasks, young Muscovites will be able to immerse themselves in the world of technology and try themselves in different IT professions," the press service of the capital's
Department of Information Technology.
The visual format of the exhibition introduces visitors to the world of IT and demonstrates that there is a place in it for people not only with deep technical knowledge, but also for humanities students – today, more and more professions are emerging at the intersection of various fields.
Components of the "IT Hero's Path"
To complete the "IT Hero Path", participants need to prepare. "Classics in IT" are interactive tests demonstrating how different school subjects help to become an IT specialist. Here, the children will check their knowledge of mathematics, physics, literature and fine arts, and then find out in what professions they are in demand.
To become a successful IT specialist, it is important to maintain good physical shape. The next part of the exhibition will help you to relax and warm up: all you need to do is pedal a phygital bike. Participants will ride along a digital copy of the Garden Ring and will be able to examine all the details of the virtual landscape and recharge their batteries.
The next challenge is the stress simulator. This is a competitive game for two that tests whether the participant can remain calm in normal working conditions. Each participant must correctly and quickly type the code despite the interruptions: messages, calls, pop-ups, and even a neighbor who is doing repairs. The guys will have to learn to work in multitasking mode, maintaining concentration and a sense of humor, even when you are distracted.
Another stage is IT Tamagotchi. This is an educational game that will help you understand how to achieve success and grow in your profession. Together with the character, participants will choose a specialty and go from an internship to a high position.
