The Zagorje Gallery will open a subscription cycle of master classes for children dedicated to the creation of badges in the style of the USSR era. Participants will learn the history of Soviet symbols and learn what significance badges had in the lives of pioneers, athletes, schoolchildren and activists.
During the classes, children will see a collection of authentic badges, learn what shapes, colours and themes were popular in Soviet times, and discuss how design reflected the values of the era.
In the creative part of the master class, each participant will create their own badge using acrylic paints, markers, decorative elements and other materials.
