From September 1, 2025, health insurance organizations (except foreign insurance organizations) engaged in compulsory medical insurance will be able to operate throughout the territory of Russia.
Federal Law No. 552-FZ of 28.12.2024 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" comes into force. Previously issued licenses for the provision of compulsory medical insurance services with a list of regions for work on the territory of the Russian Federation are subject to renewal within a year, until September 1, 2026.
