TIANJIN, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday called on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to stick to a pragmatic approach and efficiency.
Xi Jinping made the call at the 25th meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council, which was held in the port city of Tianjin on Monday.
He called for the opening of the Universal Center for Countering Security Challenges and Threats and the Anti-Drug Center as soon as possible, and the establishment of the SCO Development Bank in order to provide more powerful support for the security and economic cooperation of member states. -0-
