Perhaps the most important and long-awaited day today is for our first-year students. You are at the beginning of a long, interesting journey, full of new achievements, discoveries and acquaintances. Use this time to the maximum – absorb knowledge, develop your talents and abilities.
We have taken care to create the necessary conditions for your studies and scientific activities. Universities across the country have youth laboratories, design bureaus, engineering schools, startup studios and other sites where you can hone your knowledge and acquire additional practical skills.
In order for your student life to be comfortable, we implement large infrastructure projects. Among them is the presidential program for dormitory renovation and the creation of a network of modern student campuses.
All the qualitative transformations of recent years are part of the large-scale work to improve the national system of higher education. They are aimed at ensuring that our universities produce leading specialists who will consolidate Russia's technological leadership on the world stage.
On this special day, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to our teachers. You are mentors and guides who are shaping a new generation of professionals. With your service, you educate individuals, set an example of responsibility and sincere love for your work. Thank you for this hard and noble work.
