Completion of construction of new exits in the Republic of Tatarstan

In honor of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is celebrated annually on August 30, traffic on the M-12 "Vostok" highway was opened on five new exits, which will simplify transport accessibility of the region's settlements, as well as nearby entities. The exits are located at the 780th, 804th and 822nd km of the highway. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

"The federal high-speed highway M-12 "Vostok" connected Moscow and Kazan at the end of 2023. To date, more than 43 million trips have been recorded on this section of the highway. The road has given an additional incentive to the development of territories, the influx of investment into the economy and, as a result, the creation of new jobs. In addition, cargo transportation has become much more profitable, faster and safer. Along with this, the road has given a powerful impetus to the development of interregional ties and the disclosure of the tourism potential of not only the regions through which the highway passes, but also the subjects in the attraction zone. We continue to modernize and improve the road so that it becomes even more convenient. At the 780th, 804th and 822nd km of the M-12 in Tatarstan, traffic has opened on five new exits. They connect the high-speed highway with three other roads, thanks to which residents of Tatarstan can get to the necessary places faster. A good gift for the region in honor of the celebration of Republic Day, "said Marat Khusnullin.

The construction of additional exits was carried out under the supervision of the state company Avtodor.

"At the 780th km of the M-12 "Vostok", at the interchange with the "Kazan-Ulyanovsk-Kamskoye Ustye" highway, two additional exits were organized. Thanks to this, it became easier for residents of the region, as well as transit transport, to get to Moscow, as well as to one of the main resorts of Tatarstan – the urban-type settlement of Kamskoye Ustye. Another exit, at the 822nd km of the M-12 "Vostok", was organized at the interchange with the R-239 Kazan-Orenburg highway. It improved the accessibility of Kazan, the local airport, and the developing resort of Laishevo," said Vyacheslav Petushenko, Chairman of the Board of the state-owned company "Avtodor".

In addition, traffic was launched on two ramps at the interchange with the Stolbishche-Atabaevo highway, located at the 804th km of the M-12 "Vostok". They improved the accessibility of Kazan and the developing logistics hub in the suburbs of the capital of Tatarstan.
