TIANJIN, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in the north Chinese port city of Tianjin on Saturday.
M. Madbouly arrived in Tianjin to attend the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
Noting that China-Egypt relations are enjoying their best period in history, Xi called for taking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties next year as an opportunity to advance bilateral relations toward the goal of building a China-Egypt community with a shared future in the new era, and make greater contributions to maintaining world peace and stability and promoting global development and prosperity. -0-
