WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) — The U.S. State Department has approved the possible sale of about $825 million worth of air-to-air munitions and related equipment to Ukraine.
The prime contractors will be Zone 5 Technologies and CoAspire. The U.S. government is not aware of any offset agreements proposed in connection with the potential deal.
Ukraine is using funds from Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as foreign military financing from the United States, for this purchase. –0–
