Astana, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) — The volume of funds of the National Fund of Kazakhstan in July 2025 amounted to 37.3 trillion tenge, which is a record value since its establishment, the Kursiv portal reported on Friday, citing data from the National Bank.

In July alone, the fund's volume increased by 5.2 percent, or 1.8 trillion tenge, from 35.47 trillion. Since the beginning of the current year, the figure has grown by 7.4 percent, which is equivalent to almost 2.6 trillion tenge.

The National Fund was established in 2000. The main revenues are formed by deductions from subsoil users engaged in oil and gas production. Additional sources are funds from privatization and investment income, which are managed by the National Bank.

In March 2013, the fund's volume reached 10 trillion tenge for the first time. By October 2015, the amount had doubled to 20 trillion, and 30 trillion were accumulated only in June 2024. –0–
