From September 3, the People's Bank of China will issue commemorative coins to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War: 1 copper alloy bicolor coin, 1 8g gold coin, 1 150g silver coin and 1 30g silver coin, all legal tender of the People's Republic of China.
The obverse of the four commemorative coins depicts the coat of arms of the People's Republic of China, above which is engraved the name of the country "People's Republic of China", and below the coat of arms is the year of issue "2025".
The reverse of the copper coin is decorated with the emblem of the commemorative events and the inscription "80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War", and the denomination "10 yuan" is engraved. It is planned to issue 80 million of these coins.
