HANOI, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) — Vietnamese citizens will receive 100,000 Vietnamese dong (about 3.79 U.S. dollars) as a cash gift to mark the 80th National Day, the Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday.
According to an official message from Prime Minister Pham Minh Trinh on Thursday, the cash gifts will be distributed ahead of Vietnam's National Day on September 2. Citizens will receive the money either through bank transfer or delivery.
