The Company's Tomsk Scientific Institute won a prize at the All-Russian competition "TEAM LEADERS 2024/25". The event was attended by 157 leading Russian design organizations.
The institute's team presented a three-dimensional model of the largest oil pumping station in Russia with a capacity of 99 million tons of oil per year in the nomination "Information Modeling of Industrial Buildings".
The model, developed entirely on domestic software, contains over 480 buildings and structures, 75 thousand units of technological equipment and 280 thousand building structures. The area of the designed virtual object exceeds the territory of 100 football fields.
To achieve high-quality digital twins, the institute's specialists used ready-made virtual assemblies of engineering structures and equipment of their own design.
Rosneft is one of the leaders in the field of information modeling in the oil and gas industry: in Tomsk alone, the company's specialists are currently developing more than 30 projects using TIM.
The information models developed at Rosneft are effective at all stages of the life cycle of capital construction projects. At the design stage, they improve the quality of design and estimate documentation, minimizing possible errors associated with the intersection of spatial or temporal boundaries of various elements, which reduces the time of construction and installation work. At the operation stage, "digital twins" allow you to plan the maintenance of the facility and receive all the necessary information in a single window.
