About 40 percent of construction and installation works have already been completed as part of the implementation of one of the largest projects of Mosgaz JSC in the gas supply system of the Troitsky administrative district. Construction of the high-pressure gas pipeline on the site in the village of Krasnaya Pakhra began with preparatory work in November 2024, and installation and welding of the pipe began in January 2025.

The gas pipeline is mainly laid using an open method, however, at the intersections with existing utility networks, highways and other infrastructure facilities, a closed method is used using trenchless technologies. For the convenience of residents, the technological process takes place without interfering with the existing gas supply system, which allows completely avoiding gas outages in homes.

The gas pipeline is being built taking into account increased requirements for reliability and durability. Specialists use steel structures. The total length of the new section is about six kilometers. To enable prompt localization of the gas flow, if necessary, the route is equipped with shut-off devices with electric drives. They are connected to an automated remote control system. This allows real-time monitoring of the gas pipeline status and immediate response to any emergency situations directly from the central control room of Mosgaz JSC.

The work is planned to be completed in 2026. The construction of the gas pipeline is a key part of a large-scale program for the development of the engineering infrastructure of the Troitsky Administrative District. The work is being carried out along the Kaluga Highway, mainly along existing technical corridors, which minimizes the impact on the environment and avoids crossing specially protected natural areas. The gas pipeline will become part of a system-forming network that will ensure reliable and uninterrupted gas supply to new and developing areas of the district.

More than 70 kilometers of gas pipelines have been built and reconstructed in Moscow since the beginning of the year
