JERUSALEM, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) — Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Avichai Adrai said on Wednesday that the evacuation of Gaza City is "inevitable," calling on residents to head south before the "next stage of the war."
In a video message in Arabic published on the social network X, Adraei said: “Every family that has moved to the south will receive the maximum humanitarian aid that is currently being prepared.” According to him, the army is bringing in tents, preparing sites for the placement of aid distribution centers, building water pipes and other facilities.
