BEIJING, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) — People from all walks of life, including Taiwan compatriots, will be invited to attend a large-scale military parade to mark China's Victory Day on Sept. 3 at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said Wednesday.
As she noted, this year marks 80 years since the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as 80 years since the de-occupation of Taiwan.
