On September 7, the fifth festival of water sports will be held on the Grebnoy Canal in Krylatskoye. The event is organized by the capital Department of Sports.
The main event of the festival will be the final of the Russian championship in water-motor sports. About 150 athletes from 15 regions of the country will take part in it. Jet skiers will compete in three disciplines – circuit racing, slalom and freestyle. Athletes will use two types of jet skis: with seats – Runabout and without seats – Skidivision. Spectators will enjoy exciting races, virtuoso tricks and aerial somersaults.
A rich entertainment program has been prepared for the festival guests. They will see a water-extreme show using flyboards and jet skis and a performance by a musical group, and also participate in a variety of activities for the whole family.
A special area with a Lego town and marine-themed face painting will be set up for children. Young festival guests will take part in balance bike races and flower workshops, and will also learn how to tie sea knots. Adults will be able to play table tennis, cornhole, giant sea battle and Jenga, and also master the balance board.
