Onofficial website The full business program of the tenth, anniversary Eastern Economic Forum with speakers has been published. EEF-2025 will be held on September 3–6 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation.
"This year, the Eastern Economic Forum is being held for the tenth time. We are summing up what we have achieved, consulting on what development tools are needed to fully implement the President's instructions on the socio-economic development of the Far East. It was from the Far East that the territories of advanced development and the Hectare program, preferential mortgages and master plans for the development of cities began. In the Far East, over 2.9 thousand investment projects with a total investment volume of over 10.6 trillion rubles are being implemented using government support measures. Thanks to this, 5.4 trillion rubles of private investment have already been invested in the economy of the Far East. By 2030, this figure should be 12 trillion rubles. In total, 20 trillion rubles have been invested in the economy of the Far East over 10 years. We will continue to develop our Far East, attract investors, launch new enterprises, improve the lives of Far Easterners by developing social infrastructure, changing the space of cities, building schools, kindergartens, hospitals, clinics, sports and social facilities," said Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the EEF Organizing Committee Yuri Trutnev.
The main theme of the EEF this year is "The Far East – Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity". In 2025, there will be more than 100 business events divided into seven thematic blocks: "The Far East – a Territory for Life and Development", "Growth Recipes: Investments, Innovations, Integration", "Openness and Mutually Beneficial Partnership – the Basis of Stability", "Technologies: From Theory to Economic Effects", "Cities – for People's Lives", "Growth Arteries: How Logistics Changes the Economy" and "In Partnership between Business and the State: a Major Reassembly". The sessions will discuss unlocking the potential of human capital, developing preferential regimes, logistics, infrastructure, implementing artificial intelligence, bioeconomics and additive technologies, developing international economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as other topics.
"The Eastern Economic Forum is a platform of national importance, clearly demonstrating the consistent state course for the comprehensive development of the Far East and strengthening its role in the global economy. The EEF is one of the key mechanisms for the formation of a new architecture of international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, the task of which is to bring the density and quality of business and humanitarian ties between all parties interested in partnership to a fundamentally new level. It is through specific joint projects and trusting dialogue at the forum that future vectors of economic growth, digital transformation and sustainable development for the entire macro-region are determined, the efforts of the state and business are consolidated to form breakthrough initiatives that determine the contours of the world economy for years to come. Thus, the result of the EEF is decisions that have a long-term, strategic effect," emphasized Advisor to the President of Russia, Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov.
The Far East – a Territory for Life and Development block will include sessions dedicated to the development of the macro-region, based on personnel training, the introduction of new technologies, demographic issues and other vectors. Particular attention will be paid to the Far Eastern Hectare program. The discussions will be attended by Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuychenko, Chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Nikolai Kharitonov, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia Anna Popova, as well as heads of Far Eastern regions, representatives of the expert community and public organizations.
Thematic discussions in the track "Growth Recipes: Investments, Innovations, Integration" will be devoted to the integration of the Far East regions into global economic processes through technological development in various industries. The discussion will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Energy Sergei Tsivilev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy Nikolai Shulginov, Dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China Wang Wen, as well as representatives of regional and federal authorities, entrepreneurs and experts.
The section "Openness and Mutually Beneficial Partnership – the Basis of Stability" will be devoted to international cooperation and the development of humanitarian ties. The discussions in the direction “Arteries of Growth: How Logistics Changes the Economy” will be attended by the Advisor to the President of Russia, Special Representative of the President of Russia for International Cooperation in the Sphere of Transport, Deputy Chairman of the Maritime Board Igor Levitin, General Director of JSC Aurora Airlines Konstantin Sukhorebrik, as well as other representatives of the transport industry.
The program includes business dialogues with countries of the Asia-Pacific region and ASEAN. The EEF will also include the Creative Industries Forum, the Falcon Day International Forum, the Future Day Youth Forum, the APEC International Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education, and the international scientific and practical conference Lessons of the Great Patriotic War and World War II: Towards the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory. The Far East Street exhibition will also be held from September 3–9.
