BEIJING, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) — The China-Russia Culture and Art Festival "Dialogue of Cultures" was held in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, northeast China, from Aug. 22 to 24, Partners magazine reported.
During the event, the youth of the two countries gathered at the Mishan checkpoint and went on an open-air tour of the Xingkaihu Lake /Hanka/ nature reserve. Then they visited the Jixi City Museum and the Science and Technology Museum. About 300 paintings were presented at the exhibition of drawings by children and youth from China and Russia, and the participants of the event held a friendly concert in one of the city's schools.
This event not only built a bridge of spiritual understanding for the teenagers of the two countries, but also continued the warm chapter of Chinese-Russian humanitarian contacts through a variety of activities. -0-
