TEHRAN, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) — Top diplomats from Iran, France, Britain and Germany will meet in Geneva on Tuesday to discuss Tehran's nuclear issue, the semi-official Fars News Agency reported.
The talks will take place between deputy foreign ministers, the agency reported on Monday, citing Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei.
The diplomats will also discuss Iran's demand for sanctions relief and UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which approved the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers, as well as next steps, the report said.
The report came after a phone call on Friday between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his counterparts from three European countries (France, Britain and Germany, known as the “E3”), as well as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas. –0–
