On August 15, the Chinese Consulate General in Cape Town held a reception and photo exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The event took place at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town, the legislative capital of South Africa. It was attended by representatives of South African political, business and academic circles, the media, members of the Chinese diaspora and others. The photo exhibition features dozens of photographs reflecting the heroic struggle of the Chinese people against the Japanese aggressors. The exhibition is open to the general public and will run until September 30.
