TIANJIN, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — The press center for the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit will officially open at 8:00 a.m. Beijing time on Thursday, the summit's official website said.
The event's press center is located in Exhibition Hall S2, Phase 2, Tianjin Meijiang International Convention and Exhibition Center.
It has a comprehensive service area, public and special work areas for the media, a press conference area, a radio and television technology service area, interactive areas for scientific, technical and cultural expositions, catering and coffee break areas for media workers, as well as other functional areas.
The press centre will provide a full range of services related to radio and television, news releases, official photographs, information about the summit, scientific, technical and cultural exposition, as well as catering and transportation.
On Monday, the official website of the summit press center was officially launched at https://scochn2025.cn/. From now on, the press center will continuously publish the latest news about the summit on the website.
From August 28 to 30, the press center will also organize 5 city tours for which accredited journalists can sign up.
