BEIJING, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — The 2025 Beijing Cultural Forum will be held in the Chinese capital from Sept. 23 to 24, with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

The event will be organized by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Beijing Committee of the CPC and the Beijing City Administration.

Let us recall that the permanent theme of the Beijing Cultural Forum is “Continuity, Innovation, Mutual Learning”, and this year it will be held under the slogan “Integrated Development of Culture and Science”.

In addition to the plenary session, the forum will also feature six parallel forums, and more than 20 thematic salons and interview studios will be organized and held. In addition, participants and guests will have in-depth exchanges and discussions on issues such as the protection of cultural heritage through digitalization, the role of science and technology in stimulating cultural creativity, the integration and expansion of the audiovisual industry, improving the quality of public culture using new science and technology, innovative development of network culture, and respect for civilizational diversity.
