Baku, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — Azerbaijan will simplify visa procedures for foreign citizens and stateless persons attending the 2025 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku, which will be held from Sept. 19 to 21 this year, according to a decree issued by President Ilham Aliyev on Monday.
From August 25 to September 30, guests with accreditation cards, tickets or documents confirming their purchase will be able to obtain visas at international airports in Azerbaijan. Electronic visas are also available through the ASAN Visa system.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Migration Service will notify international bodies, embassies and airlines about the simplified rules introduced.–0–
