NEW YORK, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) — Three Chinese citizens were killed and nine others were injured in a bus crash in upstate New York on Aug. 22, the Chinese Consulate General in New York said Sunday.
Of the nine victims, seven have already been discharged from the hospital, while two others continue to receive medical care.
The Chinese Consulate General has contacted the victims' families and is providing assistance in dealing with the aftermath of the incident.
A working group of diplomatic mission employees arrived at the scene on Saturday to visit the victims in the hospital and provide the necessary consular assistance. –0–
