BEIJING, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) — Shen Yueyue, vice chairwoman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairwoman of the SCO Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, met in Beijing on Saturday with Oguljahan Atabayeva, vice chairwoman of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship of Turkmenistan, who is visiting China.
The parties exchanged views on issues related to the implementation of important agreements between the leaders of the two countries, strengthening Chinese-Turkmen friendship, cooperation in the field of protecting women and children, as well as on the work of the SCO Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation in the field of non-governmental exchanges with Turkmenistan. -0-
