Moscow, August 23 /Xinhua/ — A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not planned, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on NBC News.
"The meeting is not planned, Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky if the agenda for the summit was prepared. This agenda is not ready at all," said S. Lavrov.
On August 18, US President Donald Trump received V. Zelensky, as well as the presidents of several European countries. The meeting was also attended by the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. During the meeting, D. Trump called V. Putin.
