Moscow, August 22 /Xinhua/ — Four people were killed and four others were injured in a traffic accident on the M-2 "Crimea" highway in Russia's Oryol region, TASS reported on Friday, citing the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry's regional department.
"State traffic police officers are establishing the circumstances of the accident in the Kromskoy District of the Oryol Region. According to preliminary information, four participants in the accident were killed and four more were injured," the report says.
It is noted that the head-on collision of the Lada Vesta and Gazelle vehicles occurred at about 09:20 Moscow time. The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers are establishing the causes of the accident and taking measures to eliminate its consequences. The victims are receiving assistance. –0–
