CHENGDU, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) — More than 100 Chinese companies displayed their leading products in fields such as mechanical equipment, building materials and engineering products, as well as intelligent manufacturing at the China/Sichuan/Uzbekistan International Commodities Fair from Tuesday to Thursday.
It is reported that the current fair was jointly organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Sichuan International Expo Group Corporation and the Chengdu International Chamber of Commerce. It was the largest among all previously held international exhibitions in Sichuan Province /Southwest China/, with the largest number of participants and exhibits.
The exhibition carries the sincere expectations of Sichuan enterprises to work in partnership for mutually beneficial development and share the development opportunities of Central Asia, said the responsible representative of the above-mentioned corporation, expressing hope that the participants of the event will stop being just “exhibiting companies” and become “investment partners”, transferring their activities from “booths” to “markets” and creating many successful stories of cooperation along the “Belt and Road”. -0-
