OTTAWA, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) — Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and U.S. President Donald Trump held a telephone conversation on Thursday to discuss trade and security relations.
The leaders discussed current trade challenges and opportunities, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
The statement notes that the parties share priorities in forming new relations in the sphere of economy and security between the two countries.
