BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) — A 7.4-magnitude earthquake jolted the Drake Passage at 10:16 a.m. Thursday, the China Seismic Networks Center (CENC) said.
The epicenter of the tremors was located at 60.25 degrees south latitude and 62.30 degrees west longitude. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 km, CENC reported. -0-
