KYIV, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the country has successfully tested its own Flamingo missile, which has a range of 3,000 km, Interfax-Ukraine reported on Thursday.
V. Zelensky added that Ukraine will have more Flamingo missiles by winter, and their mass production should be established by the end of December this year or in January-February next year.
According to Interfax-Ukraine, the Flamingo missile has a warhead weighing 1,150 kg. Thanks to this characteristic and a flight range of up to 3,000 km, it can destroy virtually any target at a depth that was previously inaccessible to Ukraine's weapons. The Flamingo missile is also equipped with protection against electronic warfare. –0–
