BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) — China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with other countries so that scientific and technological innovation can expand opportunities for global development and modernization, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said Tuesday when answering a question about the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games held in Beijing over the weekend at a regular press conference.
The games, which involved teams from 15 countries, were said to showcase China's competitiveness and influence in artificial intelligence and robotics.
“I also watched videos related to the Games. Humanoid robots are definitely moving from the lab into everyday life,” Mao Ning said.
