BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Water Resources on Tuesday issued a Level 4 flood alert for north China's Tianjin Municipality, northeast China's Hebei Province, northeast China's Liaoning Province and southwest China's Yunnan Province due to forecast heavy rainfall and possible flooding.
The agency also extended the Level 4 flood alert in Beijing.
Heavy rains are forecast in the regions indicated from August 19 to 22, which increases the risk of exceeding the danger level on a number of small and medium-sized rivers. –0–
