Resolution of August 11, 2025 No. 1197

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution expanding the list of non-profit organizations whose grants, awards and prizes are not subject to personal income tax (PIT, 13%).

The list includes the History of the Fatherland Foundation, whose activities are related to the popularization of Russian history in the country and abroad, the preservation of the historical heritage and traditions of the peoples of Russia, as well as support for historical education programs.

The foundation organizes various competition projects with monetary rewards, including for schoolchildren, students, local historians and teachers. However, according to the law, such prizes must be subject to personal income tax. The signed resolution cancels this rule for participants in the foundation's projects.
