BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) — The 28th Beijing Music Festival (BMF), which will be held from Oct. 10 to 24 this year, will feature artists and musical groups from China, Switzerland, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and other countries.
The opening ceremony of the festival, which will take place at the National Center for the Performing Arts of China (National Grand Theater of China) in Beijing, will feature the China Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of renowned conductor Yu Long, this was reported at a press conference dedicated to the SMF.
This year, an innovative socially useful project will be presented at the PMF.
