BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) — The combined gross regional product (GRP) of China's five autonomous regions has risen from 6.01 trillion yuan (about 843.06 billion U.S. dollars) in 2020 to nearly 8.38 trillion yuan in 2024, Duan Yijun, vice director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, said at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on Monday.
There are five autonomous regions in China, namely the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Xizang Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. -0-
