First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov made a working trip to the Leningrad Region and visited industrial enterprises in the region.
The First Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the implementation of the investment project of Emperium LLC to modernize production facilities and inspected the passenger electric vessels under construction. In particular, he was shown the first new-generation electric pleasure vessel, Ecovolt. Also demonstrated were the electric modernized version of the passenger ship Moskva 2.0, the city aqua electric buses Sinichki and the compact electric vessel Moika 2.0.
Shipping technology developer Sitronics KT has unveiled the Strannik unmanned civilian boat with its own autonomous navigation system to provide logistics on inland waterways.
"Today we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of an already well-established enterprise that is engaged in the production of electric vessels. The initial basic customer that gave us a start in life was Moscow. But the current demand from other regions and the conditions provided by the Leningrad Region for the placement of ship production in the city of Otradnoye create good prospects for further development," Denis Manturov noted.
The First Deputy Prime Minister discussed with the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko the possibilities of developing the territory by creating an industrial park specializing in shipbuilding and the production of marine equipment using federal and regional support measures. Enterprises of the industry and suppliers of components are already operating in the district. In 2026-2027, the issue of creating an industrial park will be worked out taking into account the compensation of part of the costs from the federal budget.
Measures to support industrial cluster participants and the possibilities of the industrial mortgage program were also discussed. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, in cooperation with the regional government, will provide the necessary methodological support to industrial enterprises of the Leningrad Region to participate in the program.
Denis Manturov also instructed the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with the regional government, to conduct an internship under the Federal Practice program in the Leningrad Region in 2026.
As part of his working trip to the Leningrad Region, Denis Manturov also visited one of the defense industry enterprises.
Emperium LLC (PJSC AFK Sistema) is a serial manufacturer of electric passenger vessels, officially recognized by the International Book of Records Interrecord.
