Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the head of the Federal Accreditation Service Dmitry Volvach discussed the priority areas of the Service's work to ensure the safety of goods, products, equipment and protect the domestic market from counterfeiting.
"The President noted that improving the quality of products and services directly determines the competitiveness of the domestic economy. And here the activities of your department are of particular importance. This is primarily ensuring the safety of goods, products, equipment and protecting the domestic market from counterfeit goods," Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin opened the meeting.
Rosaccreditation is a key element of the national accreditation system. The service is both a digital platform where all system participants interact and a source of critical data for the state and business. Its registers contain information on 1.2 million certificates, 3 million declarations, and 84 million test reports. Federal executive authorities use the data marts generated by Rosaccreditation to provide 30 government services.
The Service continues to promote the use of its unique data in various monitoring and control systems to protect national markets and improve the quality of products circulating on the market. "We already transmit information about certificates and declarations to the national product labeling system "Honest Sign" on a daily basis. However, in our opinion, the next step should be the implementation of the function of prohibiting the issuance of a mark if the certificate or declaration is invalid. If the status of the permit document has changed after the labeling has been received, then such goods should be blocked at the checkout, and the batch should be withdrawn from circulation," noted Dmitry Volvach.
Since 2021, the Service has begun to voluntarily involve marketplaces in a project that allows citizens to check information about products by following a link to the register of certificates and declarations. The development of e-commerce makes control in this area especially important. 14 leading marketplaces are already participating in an experiment to place links to certificates of conformity in product cards. Such links are already available for 31 million products. From September 1, 2026, placing a link to a certificate or declaration in the Rosaccreditation register in product cards on marketplaces will become mandatory.
A separate area of the Service's work is tourism. Since September 1, all hotels, campsites, recreation centers and sanatoriums must be registered in the unified register of Rosaccreditation. To ensure that everyone can enter information into the register on time, the Service has created personal accounts for owners of accommodation facilities and regional tourism authorities. The department's employees help organizations go through the procedure on a daily basis. A technical support chat, visual instructions, and webinars have been created for industry representatives.
"All services, of course, should be convenient for citizens. It would be good if you constantly monitored and studied the customer journey that people and companies go through the services provided by Rosaccreditation. It is necessary to do everything to ensure high-quality provision of relevant government services," Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.
