GUIYANG, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) — Chinese alcoholic beverage company Kweichow Moutai's net profit reached 45.4 billion yuan (about 6.36 billion U.S. dollars) in January-June 2025, up 8.89 percent year on year.
Its operating income rose 9.1 percent year-on-year to 89.39 billion yuan in the first six months of this year, according to the company's semi-annual report released on Tuesday.
According to the data, during the reporting period, the most famous Chinese vodka producer recorded a significant increase in sales through its direct sales channels. This figure increased by 18.63 percent to 40.01 billion yuan.
