Traditionally, the most popular fields in terms of the number of applications are: advertising and public relations, linguistics, jurisprudence, economics, medicine, dentistry, applied computer science, public and municipal administration.
As for targeted admission, for example, the Institute of Ecology has completely closed the quota for targeted admission in the areas of "Ecology and Nature Management" and "Energy-Saving Technologies". Specialists will be trained specifically for the enterprises of Rosprirodnadzor and Mosoblgaz.
Among foreign applicants, the "General Medicine" direction traditionally leads, regardless of the admission conditions – budget/contract. Among those who enter on a budget from other countries, international relations, economics, management and philology are also popular. The guys who apply for a contract more often choose dentistry, linguistics, management and jurisprudence.
