KABUL, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) — Afghan security forces have recovered the body of a 13-year-old boy who was abducted by unidentified gunmen in Gardez, capital of the eastern Paktia province, local TOLOnews TV reported Sunday.
The boy was "brutally murdered," the channel reported. Local authorities have launched an investigation, but no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
Afghanistan's interim government has promised to ensure security and taken action against criminals who disturb public order. –0–
