Moscow, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed bilateral economic ties at talks in the Kremlin.

"We maintain contacts at a high political level, economic ties are developing, both in the sphere of trade and in the sphere of investments. Mutual investments are growing," V. Putin stated.

The UAE President noted that relations between the UAE and Russia have been developing dynamically in recent years. Trade turnover has reached 11 billion US dollars, and the UAE hopes to double this figure in the next five years.
