Residential buildings for the implementation of the renovation program with a total area of almost 360 thousand square meters will be built as part of the redevelopment of four sites in Cheryomushki. The sites will be reorganized under the program of integrated development of territories (IDT). This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.
"Under the KRT program, it is planned to redevelop four sites on Kakhovka and Khersonska streets, as well as on Nauchnyi proezd and on the site of the former industrial zone "Quarter 25a of the Cheremushki district". On the territory of 11.6 hectares, new buildings will appear for the implementation of the renovation program with a total area of almost 360 thousand square meters and public and business infrastructure facilities. On the first floors of the buildings, premises will be arranged for the work of trade enterprises, public catering and service departments. According to the KRT projects, it is planned to create more than 820 jobs here," said Vladimir Yefimov.
In addition to the construction of residential buildings, all necessary infrastructure will appear in the reorganized territories.
"The area of apartments in residential buildings will be approximately 219 thousand square meters. This will provide new housing for about eight thousand Muscovites. The adjacent territory will be improved and landscaped, and sports and recreation areas will appear. In addition, about 33 thousand square meters will be allocated for public, business and social facilities," noted the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of Urban Development Policy
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin made a decision on comprehensive development eight plots in the Kuzminki and Solntsevo areas.
According to the KRT program, modern and comfortable urban spaces are being created in former industrial zones, inefficiently used and undeveloped areas. Currently, 336 integrated development projects with a total area of over 4.2 thousand hectares are at various stages of development and implementation in the capital.
