BEIJING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) — The Beijing Meteorological Department on Thursday issued a blue alert for rainstorms, forecasting heavy rainfall across the city.
The meteorological service predicts moderate to heavy rainfall from the morning to midnight on August 8, with particularly intense rainfall expected in suburban areas including Yanqing, Huairou, Miyun and Pinggu.
