During the first half of 2025, capital customers held more than two thousand joint quotation sessions onSuppliers portal.
This format allowed the city's institutions to save almost 500 million rubles. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.
"The format of joint quotation sessions on the supplier portal allows customers to join purchases initiated by other institutions in the same region. Large purchases attract more suppliers, which increases competition between them and allows saving budget funds. In January-June of this year, more than two thousand joint purchases worth 1.2 billion rubles took place on the portal, which is 35 percent higher than the figure for the same period last year. As a result, the city saved 486 million rubles – 73 percent more than in the first half of 2024," said Maria Bagreeva.
The opportunity for Moscow customers to participate in joint purchases appeared onSuppliers portal in autumn 2023. The organizer of the quotation session must specify the format "Joint purchase" and invite one or more customers from their region who need goods from the same category. The purchase will be available for publication after each customer specifies the quantity of products they need.
"The largest share in the volume of joint purchases — 309.2 million rubles — was for construction goods. Household goods and appliances came in second place — they were purchased for 123.8 million rubles. The top three included paper and office supplies, the purchase volume of which amounted to 96 million rubles," said the head of the Moscow City Department for Competition Policy
