A little later, three more endoscopic centers began operating in the city clinical hospital. named after V.M. Buyanova, Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center "Kommunarka" and the Moscow Clinical Research Center named after A.S. Loginova.
The centers have already conducted more than 700 thousand studies and detected more than four thousand malignant neoplasms at zero and early stages.
All examinations are performed using the most precise equipment and under mild sedation to minimize patient discomfort. The time spent in the endoscopy center does not exceed two hours.
About a month ago, a new project on proactive endoscopic examinations was launched in pilot mode. They help to identify gastrointestinal diseases at early stages, as well as pathologies that precede the development of oncology.
Referrals for examinations have been opened for Muscovites who have not had gastro- and colonoscopy for several years. More than 20 thousand people have already undergone them.
