The Moscow Mayor's Cup in drone racing will be held in the Central Park of the Skolkovo Innovation Center from August 15 to 17. Athletes from 11 countries will take part in the competition: Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Spain, Russia, South Korea, Turkey and France. The total prize fund of the competition will be five million rubles.

Athletes will compete in the "Class 330 – Team Event" discipline. These are circular races of sports FPV quadcopters with a first-person view and pit stops. Such drones are characterized by high speed and maneuverability. Teams must overcome all obstacles of the air route and be the first to complete the 50-lap distance.

The tournament will be held in three stages: quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. Before the competition, 16 teams will be divided into four groups by drawing lots. Based on the results of each stage, the two weakest teams will be eliminated from the competition, and the two best will advance to the next round. The prize fund for this discipline will be four million rubles.

Russia will be represented at the Moscow Mayor's Cup by seven teams from different regions, which are part of the national drone racing team. The team members include Russian drone racing champions Danil Gryaznov and Kirill Loban from the Belgorod Region, Russian Cup winners and bronze medalists of the Future Games Alexander Kholkin and Platon Cheremnykh from Moscow. The Russian team will also be represented by Dmitry Voronin and Egor Naumov from the Samara Region, Grigory Mironov and Daniil Volok from the Leningrad Region, Matvey Pochekunin and Maxim Nor from the Novosibirsk Region, Nikita Yaushev and Stefan Afanasyev from Tatarstan, Grigory Petrov and Egor Kostin from St. Petersburg.

The best athletes of drone racing teams from Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Spain, France and Turkey will also come to the competition in Moscow. It is worth noting that the Spanish and German teams will include pilots from South Korea.

Among the representatives of foreign teams are multiple Turkish champion Atakan Mercimek, silver medalists of the 2024 Future Games Dimo Shterev and Antoni Georgiev from Bulgaria, as well as the champion of the American Drone Racing League Leon Schubert from Germany.

The Moscow Mayor's Cup will host virtual drone competitions in the Technical Simulator discipline on August 16 and 17. Athletes will compete in individual and team events. The virtual track will replicate the trajectory of the real track where participants in the Class 330 — Team Event will compete. The program includes women's and men's tournaments for participants over 14 years old and competitions for juniors aged 10–17. The prize fund for these disciplines will be one million rubles.
