Two new main routes will start operating in the capital from August 9. They will connect the Eastern and South-Eastern administrative districts of the capital. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

"On the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to develop ground-based urban transport and make travel more convenient for thousands of Muscovites and guests of the capital. New main routes form a chord corridor between the South-Eastern and Eastern Administrative Districts. About 40 modern buses and electric buses of Russian manufacture will drive closer to metro stations, the Moscow Central Diameters and social facilities, and will also help passengers travel more comfortably and quickly between districts and okrugs," said Maxim Liksutov.

Thus, route M64 will replace T64. Buses will run from the Vykhino metro station and to the Ivanovskoye district. In addition, route M74 will appear by merging routes T74 and No. 232. Electric buses will run from the Kuryanovo station of the second Moscow Central Diameter (MCD) to the Novogireevo station of MCD-4 through six districts of the capital, eight metro stations and the MCD.

The new routes will have a common section between the Vykhino metro station and the Veshnyaki District Administration stop. Here you can change from one main route to another. You can change or return to the same route for free within 90 minutes. To do this, you need to link your Troika card in your personal account in the application "Moscow Metro" or"Moscow Transport" and pay for your first trip. Free transfers are activated within 24 hours.

The free transfer system helps make trips even more profitable. Thanks to it, passengers have saved a total of more than 83.7 million rubles since the beginning of the year and more than 667 million rubles over the entire period of its operation.

In addition, from August 9, route T30 will begin operating under No. 650. The route will not change.
