The financial literacy marathon in Zaryadye Park will present the best educational practices of the capital and combine the most effective and popular formats. These include VR simulators and a financial test in a new, improved form.
The events will be held from August 8 to 24 in the Zapovednoye Posledstvo pavilion. Visitors to the marathon will be able to take a test that will assess their level of personal financial literacy. Online testing is organized in three languages — Russian, English and Chinese. The database now contains more than 100 questions, of which the system will randomly select 10. The topics cover personal finances, tax literacy, financial security, consumer protection and other real-life issues. Based on the test results, participants will receive personal recommendations for further financial education.
Citizens will be able to practice their financial management skills on VR simulators supplemented with new scenarios. In one of them, users will try on the role of a financial detective and try to unravel a fraudulent scheme. And in another, they will get to an exhibition of savings and investment products, where in 15 minutes they will have to evaluate 10 offers from financial organizations and understand which of them is a reliable player and which is a fraudster. A total of seven different scenarios have been prepared. You can take part for free, without prior registration.
The financial literacy marathon is part of the large-scale forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030". You can follow the announcements in the Telegram channel "Open Budget of Moscow".
