Since the beginning of the year, Muscovites have received and extended a parking permit for a large family more than 30.7 thousand times. It allows you to leave your car free of charge within the entire paid city parking zone of the capital, every day and around the clock. An application for the document must be submitted once, and its validity period is extended in a simplified format. This was reported by the capital's Department of Information Technology.
"The ability to quickly and online apply for a parking permit makes life much easier and more convenient for parents with many children: they do not need to spend money on paying for parking in the capital and visit departments again. With the service on the mos.ru portal, this is very easy to do, and from 2022, to renew it, you do not need to submit new applications, since this process has been transferred to a proactive format," the capital's Department of Information Technology said.
Users can apply for a parking permit for a large family using services on the mos.ru portal.

Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of Moscow provides families with three or more children with the opportunity to park on city streets for free. To do this, you need to obtain a special permit. This can be done quickly and conveniently on the mos.ru website, the processing period is no more than three working days," said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.
How to apply for a parking permit for a large family
In order to apply for a parking permit for a large family on the mos.ru portal, you must select the "Transport" section in the catalog, then the "Parking" subsection and the services block "Parking permit for a large family". One of the parents can act as the applicant. Their details will be automatically added to the online electronic application if they were previously entered in the personal account on the mos.ru portal. If the application is filled out by a parent's representative, then it will be additionally necessary to attach a notarized power of attorney with an electronic signature of a notary, as well as indicate the passport details of the representative. Among other documents, copies of which must be attached to the completed online application – confirmation of vehicle registration, as well as documents (if any) confirming that the car owner has no fines imposed for violating traffic and parking rules. The decision on the provision of the service is made within three working days.
If a parking permit for a large family has already been issued earlier, then there is no need to submit a new application for its extension. This will happen proactively – two months before its expiration, a notification about the possibility of its extension will be sent to the user's personal account on mos.ru. The recipient of the benefit will only have to agree to the provision of the service. Proactive extension is available to users with a standard or full account on mos.ru portal.
